First time cruising? Here's some more helpful FAQ's.

· How can you book cruises under retail and discount rates?
Answer: Cruise Wholesale continually contracts for large blocks of various deck and stateroom options, from 1st class to budget. We reserve these blocks months, and in some cases years, ahead of cruise dates. By taking advantage of these bulk purchases and maximum early bookings, we receive discounts well above industry standards. The cruise lines are guaranteed future capacity, and Cruise Wholesale can pass it's savings on to our clients while still making a profit. Everyone benefits!

· These rates can't be on the well known cruise lines, right?
Answer: Wrong. Cruise Wholesale has a long established relationship with the most popular cruise lines. We feature cruises on, Carnival, Celebrity, Princess, Holland America, and Norwegian, to name just a few.

·Are your cruises limited in shipboard services & entertainment?
Answer: There are never any limitations with Cruise Wholesale bookings. All arrangements with Cruise Wholesale, are complete cruise line offerings. We never book you into a limited cruise itinerary. We wouldn't be around for so long if we did. Whether you book 1st class, budget, or anything in between, you'll always receive full value accommodations, services, and entertainment, that's available to those paying full retail prices.

·Why can't anyone else get the same booking rates?
Answer: Actually, they can. As long as they are capable and willing to book in big enough volume, and as far into the future, as does Cruise Wholesale. There's no secret deals, cruise sacrifices, or liner CEO's that are relatives. We just get the best for the least, because we buy right and sell right.

· Is this like one of those standby, go when I'm called, scams?
Answer: No scam or con here! Our reputation is paramount to our continued success and growth. We take great pride in our honesty with clients, as well as our travel and cruise line associations. We also protect our clients by being fully bonded and insured, and are long standing member's of ASTA, the American Society of Travel Agents; CLIA, Cruise Lines International Association; and the Crown Travel Group. At Cruise Wholesale we will answer any questions you may have, without charge or commitment, and never ask you to pay a "membership fee" for the privilege. We want our clients and their friends to return, time and time again.

·What's the catch? Do I have to get a group together to get these rates?
Answer: There's no catch. You want to cruise yourself? By all means, call us. Of course, like all other booking agencies, we do offer bonus incentives for group travel, such as: upgrades; free booking or accommodations; etc. If you want to know more about group travel incentives, give us a call. We'll be happy to answer any questions you may have, but group travel is never a requirement for Cruise Wholesale's low rates.

·What if I have to cancel in an emergency?
Answer: Again, at Cruise Wholesale, we want you to know everything about cruise travel. We are a booking agency only. Every cruise line and travel provider has different policies regarding cancellations and reservation modifications. Some may charge penalties for late cancellations in increasing amounts as the departure date nears. Cruise Wholesale will advise you, up front, of any policy regarding such matters on the cruise or cruise line that you select. If you're still concerned about potential reservation problems, we'll also explain how to protect yourself with a standard low cost travel protection policy.

· Are these cruises to only second rate destinations?
Answer: There is nothing second rate about cruises booked through Cruise Wholesale. All cruise lines have their favorite ports of call. You book according to your preference in lines and their destinations for that particular cruise. You'll still visit the same locations and sites that other shipmates are paying retail prices for. The top Ports of Call in Alaska, Mexico, Caribbean, Bahamas, Hawaii, Pacific or Atlantic, they're all waiting for you. Why pay more to get there!

Some FAQ's for first time cruising consideration.
·What's included in the cruise price?
·Are there any hidden costs or extras involved?
·Is it cheaper to wait and book at the last minute?
·Should I forget it if I'm prone to seasickness?
·Are handicap facilities available?
·I don't have expensive formal clothes, what is acceptable wear?
·What type of documents or passports do I have to get?
·What's a better value, a resort trip or a cruise?
·Why should I book my first cruise with Cruise Wholesale?

·What's included in the cruise price?
Answer: Your cruise fare includes: your stateroom accommodations; all gourmet meals, including late night buffets, and specialty snack bars; all evening entertainment and shows; daily shipboard & sports activities; motion pictures; exercise gym; dance clubs; swimming pools; parties; and all the rejuvenating and relaxing fun you can handle.

·Are there any hidden costs or extras involved?
Answer: Nothing is ever hidden on a Cruise Wholesale booking. There are some activities you may want to allow extra funds for, such as: Shore excursions and shopping; specialty shipboard duty-free shops, spas, hairdressers, cocktails, gambling, and tips. In other words, allow for activities you would normally plan for on any vacation. But remember, on any other vacation, your meals and entertainment would be extra also. Cruising will always be your best value, dollar for dollar.

·Is it cheaper to wait and book at the last minute?
Answer: This is probably the biggest myth of all. Although, in a few very rare cases, you might find an exception to the rule. For the most part, cruise lines base their rates on availability value. As staterooms and decks fill, the rates go up. To get the maximum value at the least cost, you should reserve your cruise as far in advance as possible, especially if you decide to book your cruise with anyone other than Cruise Wholesale.

·Should I forget it if I'm prone to seasickness?
Answer: If you've been seasick before, you probably were on a small boat or fishing barge in rough water. Cruise ships are huge, (about the length of 3 or 4 football fields) stabilized vessels. It is very rare to experience motion sickness on a cruise ship, but if you're really concerned, there is many counter medications adequate for peace of mind.

·Are handicap facilities available?
Answer: No person should ever be restricted from the enjoyment of a cruise. All cruise ships that Cruise Wholesale contracts with have special handicap staterooms and access facilities to accommodate any condition. We leave no one out, call us for more information.

·I don't have expensive formal clothes, what is acceptable wear?
Answer: Another myth. In the bygone cruise era, yes, tuxedos and formal gowns were expected for dining and evening functions. You could take a dinner jacket or cocktail gown, but this is no longer a mandate in modern cruising. We would recommend bringing a dark suit and tie for the men and a cocktail dress for the ladies for only the fanciest of evening occasions. Pack what you would normally take to any vacation resort and you'll be fine. We'll be happy to suggest packing inclusions when you contact us.

·What type of documents or passports do I have to get?
Answer: For most cruises all you need is some identification and proof of citizenship. Passports may be required depending on destination ports of call. Cruise Wholesale will advise you of all required documents when booking your selected cruise.

·What's a better value, a resort trip or a cruise?
Answer: Those of us known as "cruisers" are jaded. We're a special breed that likes to experience exotic, romantic locations in comfort, while meeting new like minded friends. We don't rent a room and drive through traffic to find activities or restaurants. We take our "floating hotel", included meals and relaxing activities with us as we enjoy different lands and cultures. We will be happy to show you comparisons between the two vacation options and you can answer your own question. But, you should be warned that cruising can become addictive, just ask someone you know that's has cruised before.

·Why should I book my first cruise with Cruise Wholesale?
Answer: Still not convinced yet? Other than - the best cruise bookings at the least cost; reputable honest dealings with all customers; the greatest possible cruise line connections and destinations; consistent returning satisfied cruise patrons; and educating our clients to be highly astute and knowledgeable travelers, there's only our commitment to maximize your cruise enjoyment. We want you to know everything, even the pitfalls, about the cruising experience. Just sit back and let Cruise Wholesale handle all your cruise details according to your preferences.
