ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE OF
GIVING
Parade will start in
Kernville about 4:00 PM. You can view parade route from most locations in the
Village. Classic car owners are asked to have their cars at Circle Park (parade
start) by 3:30 pm to arrange lineup. Cars are requested to be decorated for the
season but it is not a requirement. Motorcycles will assemble at AltaOne
parking lot. Listen to KCNQ & KVLI that evening for any last minute parade
details.
Drivers and parade watchers are also requested to bring new and
un-wrapped toys for our less fortunate Kern Valley Children. Most Village
stores will remain open late that evening.
Collection barrels are located
at: Big Blue Bear, La-De-Dah,
Sportsman Bar, Ewings on the Kern, Kathleen's
River Saloon, James Sierra Gateway Mkt., Natural Health,
and the Kernville
Chamber Building.
Santa will visit with children at Santa's Village in
Circle Park immediately after the parade, and
from 4:00 - 6:00 pm on
December 3rd, 10th & 17th.
