Biography
"Each rock
I select is carefully studied for just the right painting. The rock and the
wildlife it becomes, must blend together as they do in nature, yet at the same
time contrast each other. It's so exciting when a rock is found, painted and
becomes a personal masterpiece." Barbara Jean Emerich has been painting on rocks for over twenty years. She started when she was able to get some marble and discovered that painting on rock slabs was different and unique.
Barbara Jean does many shows every year and has numerous clients who collect her work.
