Biography

paper.Wildlife is the emphases of most of my work, and I like to present it in a realistic manner. I am drawn to their beautiful colors, their amazing camouflage and how they interact with each other and their environment. Though I don't emphasize one particular species, I do like to focus on the animals found in California
Self-taught, I have some background in the fundamentals of art gained through collage classes. But most of my knowledge has come through the lessons of trial and error, and with a strong love of painting instilled in me at an early age through my grandfather and my mother, my work continues to mature. I can't say I have one artist that I would like to mentor under, because I am fascinated with the work of many artists, this provides me with the drive to cultivate my own style.
