Biography
Denis
Milhomme spent his formative years in a small New England town. After moving to
California, he was able to continue his study of art throughout college and in
workshops. He has been painting professionally since 1983.He tries to bring to all who view his work, a realistic glimpse of nature. With his use of detail, he helps create the emotional impact of actually being there. His oil paintings depict his great love of nature.
Denis has been fortunate to be the recipient of many awards such as the 1994 Arts For The Park Franklin Mint Award of Merit, regional Winner of Arts For The Park 1993, Best of Show, Phippens Western Art show, 1993 as well as several People's Choice and Purchase Awards. He resides with his wife, Lorene, in the foothills near Sequoia Park.
