RICHARD A. MYER
Biography


From the earliest years, award-winner sculptor, Richard Myer, can remember having an insatiable desire to create three-dimensional objects with his hands. He earned a degree in fine art from Brigham Young University, then returned to his native New York City and took advanced studies at the Art Students League and the Sculpture Center. He worked as an assistant art director until moving to California in 1970, where he began his professional sculpting career. Richard has earned numerous awards for his outstanding Western bronzes. Concentrated study and research have added strength to the authenticity of his work. Richard resides in Glendora, California.
