Born and raised in
California, Patti lives with her husband, Don, in a rural tennis resort
community near lakes and foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is here
that the majority of her wildlife paintings are created. First, through
sketches and photography, and then completed in her studio with oil on canvas.
Working in oils, her original paintings and limited editions have been
overwhelmingly accepted at the National Expositions she has attended. Her
ability to paint subjects with realistic detail won the accolades of fellow
artists and collectors throughout the United States. Her artwork has been
featured in various museums and galleries and can be found in homes of
collectors from the Pacific Ocean to the East Coast. Images have been published
in the international magazine Wildlife art, Inform Art Magazine, Big Bear Lake
Magazine, and featured artist in the coffee table book "Wildlife Art - 60
Contemporary masters and their Work".
