REVA HANSEN
Biography

(Reva WiIdunique) Artist Reva Hansen of Apple Valley, California, began painting southwestern landscapes while still in high school, winning a scholarship to the Kansas City Art Institute. She continued this journey while completing her college education and teaching in New Mexico and Arizona. The fascinating creatures around her home in the Mojave Desert turned her attention to desert wildlife, and for a number of years she exhibited exclusively for wildlife organizations throughout California.

She now concentrates on exhibiting at professional art shows -working primarily with oil and pastel and does a variety of wildlife. Her work generally exudes serene tactile realism, and speaks for itself. Reva is represented by Rich Pelletreau's Wildlife Gallery in Wofford Heights (Lake Isabella) and the Victor Valley Museum Art Gallery. She is a member (presently president) of the Wildlife Artist Association, the foremost exclusively wildlife specialized artist organization.
