Judy Wolford Deems
Biography


Judy Wolford Deems, a native Californian, born in Bakersfield, became serious about art at a very early age. She loves to paint horses, wildlife and portraits of pets. A versatile painter in watercolors, pastels and oils, she now works in acrylics.

Her love of horses has inspired the wonderful "Old West" paintings of cowboys and Indians for which she is so well known.

Winning numerous awards and best of Show, her paintings are in private collections throughout the United States as well as Germany, New Zealand, Australia and England. On of her cowboy paintings is hanging in the Cowboy Memorial Museum in Caliente, California.

She has recently been devoting a great deal of time to her special love, teaching beginning artists to develop their painting talents.

Wolford deems, her professional signature, is a combination of her maiden and married names.
